Thanks to all the youth and adults who helped out this past Tuesday at MTG.  And a HUGE thanks to everyone who came out to support us.  We love and appreciate you!!!   I have to say that it was one of the most enjoyable fund-raisers I’ve ever done.  We made $460.00.  Not bad for 4 hours work.  The next one is Tuesday, June 8th.  Don’t miss it!

• Maundy Thursday, April 1st:  Noon-6:00pm
• Good Friday, April 2nd: Noon-7:00pm
• Saturday, April 3rd: Noon-8:00pm

What is the Labyrinth?

• Labyrinth is an interactive installation for spiritual journeys. It’s for anyone who wants a break from surfing the surface of culture to contemplate the deeper things of life.
• Labyrinth reshapes a 12th-century ritual for the 21st century. Its maze-like path takes you on a symbolic journey, creates space to unwind and think – in particular about our relationships with ourselves, one another, our planet and God.
• Designed for young and old alike, it provides a mixture of rituals and visuals, of contemplative words and contemporary ambient music, of symbols and media to help guide the spiritual traveller.
• The path has three stages – the ‘inward’ journey, the centre and the ‘outward’ journey. The theme of the ‘inward’ journey is letting go of things which hinder our wholeness and inner approach to God. The centre of the Labyrinth is a space of meditative prayer and peace. The theme of the ‘outward’ journey is relationship – with ourselves, with others and with the planet – seen in the light of our relationship with God.

The end is near! of confirmation class that is. Confirmation Sunday is Sunday, April 25th during the 9:15am and 11am services. Confirmation Sunday rehearsal will be the day before Saturday, April 24th @ 4pm in Hammill Hall.

A few things we need:

• to know which service you would like to be confirmed in: 9:15am or 11am.
• to know if your child been baptized, if not we need to make sure they are baptized during the services. we have a record of some of the confirmand, but not all.

IMPORTANT!!!
-No small group switching find one and stick with it.
-Those who are already involved with the Mahaffey’s Small Group please continue to to attend that small group.

Just sent out an invite for both small groups: One for the Mahaffey’s and One for the Sandel’s. So when you respond to the invite make sure that your responding to the right one.

Small Groups meet after SNL on Sunday Nights. If you need a ride to Small Group, ask adults. Both small groups are within a mile or two of the church. Parents pick up @ home of small group.
