We are going to do a new thing for HUMYF Drama.
- Each week we will have a skit for “Sunday Night Live”.
- Some skits will be live
- Some skits will be on video. Video shoots will either be at the church or on location.
- I will go ahead and pick actors ahead of time. Those who best fit the roles. (Some will be adults)
- If you want to be in the loop for doing skits and be picked for roles, you need to let me know.

***You can download these skits by clicking the skit titles above or you can pick them up in the Youth Room/Multi-Purpose Building @ the “Youth Booth”. We will also be sending HUMYF Drama plans by e-mail from the planning center.
How we do our skits:
- Live:
- Performed live @ Sunday Night Live.
- Props and Character will perform on the rug area in front of the projector screen.
- Rehearsals for Live skits will be on an afternoon or evening when all actors can be present.
- Memorization is required to perform live skits.
- Video:
- Skits on Video are shot by “scene”. We get the best takes from the skit and then edit the video. Some memorization and preparation before hand.
- We pick a day that actors can get together to shoot the video.
Skit Instructions:
- Download Skit online here or pick it up in the Youth Room @ the “Information Station”.
- Memorize and Rehearse Lines at Home.
- Dress Rehearsal for live skits will occur during the week, one evening or afternoon, before the skit will be performed. The day and time will depend on when all
actors are available. - Video Shoots will be planned in advance when all actors involved will be available. (Some video skits will be shot on location: School, Restaurant, outside, etc…
- Actors are required to prepare their own costumes.
- Props for skits will be provided.
