Missions Statement:
Harrison United Methodist Church and Harrison Student Ministry is a family that invites everyone into a relationship with Christ to Worship, Discover and Serve God.

Purpose:
The purpose of HSM is to reach out to our community and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ through service and love, to build a friendly community for students to enjoy and glorify God, and to train and prepare them to live Christ-like lives in our present culture.

Our main objective is for students to develop a relationship with Christ.  To achieve this goal, we provide Bible Studies, Worship, Special Events, and Service opportunities. 

The Word of God is our primary training tool.

"Study to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the Word of Truth." 2 Timothy 2:15 (TNIV)

We are actively training and preparing the next generation to connect with their present culture with the message of Jesus Christ through word and deed.
